I'm a CPA with a Master’s degree in accounting. For over a decade, I was deep in the world of public accounting, specializing in tax prep and audits. Because I spent years preparing taxes, I offer something most bookkeepers can’t: I know exactly what your tax preparer needs. We set up your books with the end goal in mind, ensuring a stress-free tax season for you every single time. But here’s the thing: I’m also a creative at heart. In 2018, I started my own creative small business. I soon realized that while bookkeeping felt second nature to me, for fellow creatives, it was the exact thing sucking the joy out of their passion. Accurate books are the foundation of strong financial decisions, smooth tax seasons, and confident business growth. If your bookkeeping has fallen behind or becomes difficult to untangle, my Clean-Up and Catch-Up services will restore order, accuracy, and clarity to your financial records. You will receive clean, fully reconciled books and clear reports that finally reflect the true financial health of your business.
A diagnostic review may be required before beginning Clean-Up work. The diagnostic review fee is credited toward your project if you decide to move forward.

You are never left wondering where things stand. Clients receive ongoing email support for questions as they come up, along with regular check-ins to review progress, address concerns, and ensure your bookkeeping continues to support your business goals.

Your books are carefully reviewed, reconciled, and translated into clear, easy-to-understand reports. Monthly clients receive financial reports by the 15th of each month, while quarterly diagnostic clients receive a detailed review with insights and recommendations to keep their books on track.

Once the proposal is approved, you’ll receive an engagement letter and initial invoice. I’ll handle setup in Xero or QuickBooks, if needed, and guide you through providing access to your accounting files and bank accounts. You’ll also get access to a secure shared folder where all deliverables will be stored.
